Pediatric Care Finder may process the following categories of information when you use the service:

• Search terms you type into the directory
• ZIP code
• Approximate location (for example, the general area derived from your ZIP code or network)
• Precise location — only when you affirmatively permit location access in your browser or device
• Provider search preferences, including saved and recently viewed providers
• Specialty preferences
• Insurance or Medicaid search selections
• Device and browser information
• IP address
• Basic security logs
• Cookie preferences
• Analytics information, if analytics are enabled and you have consented
• Information you voluntarily submit through contact, provider-correction, or privacy-request forms

Search preferences, favorites, recently viewed providers, and cookie choices are stored on your own device. Your IP address and basic request data are necessarily processed by our hosting, infrastructure, and security providers in order to deliver the site — we do not claim that this information is anonymous, and some of it may be identifiable or pseudonymous.

Pediatric Care Finder does not require users to provide medical diagnoses, medical records, treatment histories, Social Security numbers, insurance member identification numbers, payment-card information, or other sensitive medical records in order to search for a provider. Users should not submit this information through Pediatric Care Finder.

Some of this information — such as location, ZIP code, insurance or Medicaid selections, and the providers you search for or view — may be treated as consumer health data under state law. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes how that data is collected, used, shared, and deleted, and the rights available to Washington and Nevada residents.

We use information to:

• Improve Pediatric Care Finder
• Remember preferences
• Respond to questions or correction requests
• Maintain security and prevent misuse

Pediatric Care Finder does not sell personal or consumer health information or use health-related searches for targeted advertising.

Pediatric Care Finder is not intended to collect medical records, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, insurance ID numbers, or other detailed medical information. Please provide sensitive medical information directly to your healthcare provider.

Because the service runs on third-party infrastructure, some information is necessarily processed by other companies. The categories of third parties involved are:

• Hosting, application, and database infrastructure providers
• Mapping providers (Google Maps Platform) for maps, place details, and geocoding
• Security, logging, and error-monitoring providers
• Analytics providers, only if analytics are enabled and you have consented
• Public government registries we query on your behalf, such as the NPPES/NPI Registry and CMS data

Third-party websites and healthcare providers have their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

Pediatric Care Finder uses Google Maps Platform to display maps, office locations, hours, and distances. Your use of those features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, and Google’s processing of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Pediatric Care Finder is intended for parents, guardians, caregivers, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the service.

We use strictly necessary technologies to keep the site working and secure. Optional functional and analytics technologies load only after you give consent where consent is required. No advertising or cross-site tracking technologies are used. You can review and change your choices at any time on the Cookie Settings page.
